Finbar I’m trying to figure out the best diet for my 2-year-old African Grey parrot. I’ve been offering a mix of seeds and fresh fruits, but I noticed she prefers the seeds over everything else. What do you all feed your parrots to ensure they’re getting a balanced diet?
Noblewoman I feed my African Grey a mix of pellets, fresh veggies, and some seeds as treats. Have you tried offering veggies first before the seeds? It might help her get used to them.
Flower-Like I also use a pellet-based diet with lots of veggies mixed in. You could try using a foraging toy to make the veggies more enticing!
